    Well, it seems film is not dead yet..it's gratifying to know the cinematographers don't choose video over film...I figured it was a cost cutting move by studios and producers...

    One other thing to consider. When they say that almost half of the shows are broadcasting HI-DEF, what does that mean?

    Of those shows broadcasting in HI-DEF, how many are shot in film and broadcast in HI-DEF. When it's all said and done, are they really saying that car chases and stunts need the luxury of multiple cameras/HD, while good old fashioned acting scenes do not?

    Could it be that well written scripts are shot with film, and the fluff stuff is being shot on HD?
